Ho ho ho. Things are hotting up in the election stakes, and it’s only been two days! Latest is that Johnny Howard has messed up interest rate figures (who can blame him, he is 68), while little Kevin Rudd is stealing Liberal Policies left, right and center!

I have no idea who I would vote for. On the one hand you have John Howard, been around for ages and seemingly good for the economy, while on the other you have Kevin Rudd, breathing fresh life into Australian politics.

Is fresh life better than stable, consistent government. For all we know, as soon as Rudd gets in his head explodes from the sheer magnitude of the task at hand. Then again, it seems just as likely that Howard drops dead after walking just that bit too far.

The general consensus amongst everyone i know is ‘I’m not sure, stuff it, i’ll vote for the greens.’ Thinking like this could really stuff the country up, Greens coming to power and all of a sudden having a hippy for a Prime Minister.

At the moment, i still think Labour will win, but i expect ol’ Johnny to finish strongly.

Labour by 32.
